July 2, 2012 - Get together in Guelph

Went to visit Brian's family in Guelph.  I love their patio.  It's enclosed but the breeze coming through it is so awesome!!

July 7, 2012 - Brian's birthday celebration

Brian's back and it's his birthday weekend.  We spent Saturday in Guelph with the Smith family and enjoyed watching the young kids run around in the backyard and in the house.

July 1, 2012 - Canada Day Celebration

The whole day Saturday was spent on the couch with Caitlin because she was sick so on Sunday, I let her stay at home in the afternoon to get some more rest before we heading out to meet with everyone else at Joed and Luisa's house for the Canada Day celebration and fireworks.

The kids have never seen fireworks before because we could never stay up that late.  Caitlin recovered and ready to party with the rest of her cousins.

I'm actually using Kuya Greg's new zoom lens in the next couple of pictures.  Love those lens!!!  Wish I had one too.

June 24, 2012 - Sunday at Lola Zonia's house

I've had this idea of strawberry picking with the kids for some time.  I thought it would be fun and a good activity for the kids so on Sunday, I woke up early, gathered the kids, my niece and her little one, Lily (my goddaughter).


Rules: 
1. Do not cross over to the other rows of strawberries that have not been assigned to you
2. Do not eat the strawberries as you pick them.


Only 2 simple rules.  Do you think my kids would follow them?  Of course not, they are only 2 and 3 year olds.  Thank goodness they didn't eat so much that they left a mark around their mouths.

Yup, Connor jumping over the rows of strawberries and I'm sure Caitlin will pick and eat her strawberry.  She mostly chose the green strawberries.  I had to remove them before I paid for their pails.

In the afternoon, we headed over to Lola Zonia's house to chill out with the cousins.

I can't even remember now why Connor was upset but I'm sure he was okay once he got his freezies.

Yay for happy baby!!

All is good in the world now that Connor has his freezie.

June 23, 2012 - Visit with Mrs. Viga Hetman

Today we visited Mrs. Hetman out in Acton.  She has an aweome house with a huge yard and a manmade pond.  The best feature is that the house is already childproof.  That's the best type of house that we like to visit.

If you look closely you can see the frog.

Yum, yum, I get a popsicle!!!  Love visiting others and mom and can't say no.  hee hee

You don't see it but there are some fishes in the pond and Caitlin is trying to attract them.  She's teasing them and letting them think that she has food for them.

June 14, 2012 - At Reyes' Residence

Hanging out at home after school while mommy cooks the dinner.

Now that Connor has a new found love of the bike, he constantly wants to be riding it.  He's a pro.

Caitlin's godmother was able to purchase a bike for her second-hand but it looks like we have to get a real bike for her.  This one is just not cutting it.
